It was a lot easier than I thought it’d be. Granted, this isn’t fantastic, and Idk why it’s so much faster on tumblr than it is when I preview it in my browser, but whatever. I’m just happy that my ridiculous idea now exists.

“Stop playing with me, Marian. You know very well who I am but I will play along.” sighs. ” Sir Guy of Gisborne, the Sheriff’s Lieutenant and the man you insist in deny that you love?” arches an eyebrow. “Now come. I’m not happy with the thought of returning to the castle either but we have no choice on the matter. Be a good lady and do not give me problems.”
“I am not playing and I am not Marian!” She paused for a moment as he spoke, raising her eyebrows. “Right, okay. As interesting as that is, I’ve only just met you and I am most certainly not in love with you.” Taking another step back, she shook her head and folded her arms, surveying him. “Yes because you see, saying something like that to me will make me want to go with you won’t it? You’re a rather foolish man aren’t you? Now, believe me when I say I am not the woman you want.”
“And now you are insulting me! This day is getting better and better.” pinches the bridge of his nose then takes a deep breath and tries a different approach. “Marian…or not-Marian…as you wish. Would you please come back to the castle with me. Now? If you are not who I think you are then…you could just enjoy Nottingham’s hospitality.”

“Almost succeeded, yes. Too bad this is not enough to make me fear your abilities as an assassin. And I do not really feel that much danger coming from a craftsman, you know… and I’m a knight. I’m not the one in disadvantage here, Am I?”
“Well maybe it should… Just shows your lack of intelligence doesn’t it?” He scoffed and rolled his eyes, shuffling a little on the spot out of frustration. “Oh I wouldn’t be so sure… Knight or not, considering where we are, I think I have the advantage. I know this place better than you and I’m smarter. So don’t kid yourself Gisborne.”
What, are you already thinking about run and hide from me? That’s what you’re telling me, outlaw? That’s a funny thing because see…you will have to start the running now.

“I’m in no position to judge that kind of thing, my lady. And I will certainly not judge you. My duty is to enforce the laws and obey the orders of my lord. I prefer to leave philosophy to people with more knowledge than a simple knight like me.”
“Well, good,” she said somewhat shortly before her face softened slightly. “And I would not put yourself down like that, my lord. Some of the smartest people I know are knights. So, what brings you to Camelot?”
“What brings me to Camelot. Good question, my Lady Morgana. I have no idea how I got here. I was heading towards York.”

Quite well, I must say and wondering where you were.
I have been around the castle… I’m surprised you haven’t seen me.
Well, I have been busy, as always…and you do have a talent for hiding yourself from me, don’t you?

“Good. And my loyalties are none of your business…or the Sheriff’s business for that matter. I’m planning on keeping a decent distance from the Castle to avoid any demonstrations of his temper.”
“I can see you’ve obviously put a lot of thought into that plan. I’d wish you luck, but it would probably be wasted.”
“Yes, took me a lot of courage thinking to come to that decision, and I do not need you wishing me anything. It would probably turn into very bad luck. And how am I supposed to take care of Marian damn it! She’s in the castle!”

And what do you want?
I suggest you leave, quickly.
What is the name again…Will, right?
I suggest you watch your mouth.
Surprised you’d remember…
Oh please…like I’d listen to you. Besides, pretty sure you’re the one at the disadvantage here.
“You tried to kill the Sheriff, don’t you? You are quite famous now.” he snickers but glances around discretely…maybe not so discretely. “Well, I don’t see your little friends here. Jut you and me.”
Will felt his stomach twist at those words but instead, he nodded, slowly. “I did… And I almost succeeded too.” His voice was steadier than he felt but his eyes gave away his mask, the hurt, anger and guilt shining clearly. “Perhaps that should mean you are more careful…” He smiled slightly then, glancing around them as well. “You’re right. None of your little guards… So, how are you not at a disadvantage?”
“Almost succeeded, yes. Too bad this is not enough to make me fear your abilities as an assassin. And I do not really feel that much danger coming from a craftsman, you know… and I’m a knight. I’m not the one in disadvantage here, Am I?”
